Mapes Motorcycle's & Interests



Over the years I have had a few different bikes. I have a 2001 BMW F650GS, nice little bike. My son has decided he would like to run motocross. He has a Yamaha TTR125, a good starter bike for a first year racer. We are going to post pics and commentary on our little adventures out and about. I will also put some links up of places I visit on the web that may prove to be useful.
Update, though a bit late. In 2004 Anthony raced a 1999 Honda CR125R in the pre-novice class. We have the bike apart, the only thing on the frame is the bottom end. The exhaust valves were in a bad way. Everything is getting greased, a new ring. Getting ready for 2005. I will post some photos of the mess we have, not to bad.
